Go PremiumHow MLB hit rates work
Baseball props turn on small numbers: a 0.5 hits line or a 1.5 total bases line can be decided by one at-bat. Each row shows how often a hitter cleared his hits, total bases, RBI or runs line, or how often a pitcher went over his strikeout line, in his last 5, 10 and 20 games. Games with no plate appearance or batter faced are skipped.

MLB hit rate FAQ
How is a total bases hit rate counted?
Singles count 1, doubles 2, triples 3 and home runs 4. On a 1.5 line, every game where the hitter reached 2 or more total bases is a hit.
Which games count for a pitcher strikeout hit rate?
Every game he pitched in. Games where he faced no batters are left out, so a last-5 rate is five real outings.
Why do 2+ hits props sometimes not get their own row?
A 2+ hits prop is the same bet as hits over 1.5. When the hits line is 1.5 the page shows that one row; the 2+ hits ladder gets its own row only when no hits line matches it.
