Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BeatVig is operated by Fantasyteamadvice LLC. This policy explains what information beatvig.com collects, why, and who it is shared with. BeatVig is intended for users located in the United States. Contact: admin@beatvig.com.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

• Email address, and a username derived from it, when you buy a subscription. Accounts on BeatVig are created from checkout: our Stripe webhook creates your account from the email you enter at checkout and then emails you a password link.
• Your password, stored only as a salted hash.
• Any book preferences or settings you save.

Information collected automatically

• Pages you visit, referring page, device type, and whether you are signed in.
• Your IP address, user agent, and requested path, for security and abuse prevention.
• Sign-in timestamps and the IP address of your most recent and current sign-in, plus the IP you registered from, stored on your account record.
• Cookies: a session cookie (_fta_rails_session, expires after two weeks), an optional "remember me" cookie, and an analytics cookie set by Google Analytics.

Payment information

• Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and are never received or stored by us. Stripe collects your name and billing address. We store Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers, and a copy of the webhook events Stripe sends us, which can include your name, billing address, and card last four digits.

If you use the AI/MCP connector

• Your account id and the name of each tool your assistant calls, plus how long the call took, are recorded in our server logs and error-monitoring tool so we can measure usage and diagnose problems. We do not record the contents or arguments of your questions.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information.

We share data with service providers who process it on our behalf:

BeatVig does not use Google Analytics, PostHog, or any other analytics provider for any purpose other than the traffic measurement described above; BeatVig sends no data to PostHog. We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the security of the service.

4. Where we operate

BeatVig is intended for, and offered to, users located in the United States. If you access BeatVig from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.

5. How long we keep it

• IP address, user agent, and requested path in our request-tracking system: 2 hours.
• Signed-in activity records: 1 hour.
• Session cookie: 2 weeks. "Remember me" cookie: up to 1 year.
• IP addresses we block for abusive request volume are kept indefinitely; we do not currently remove them.
• Account records, Stripe records, and Stripe webhook payloads are kept indefinitely while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete what we control; we do not currently commit to a fixed deletion timeline.
• Google Analytics, Honeybadger, and our email provider retain data on their own schedules, set in their own dashboards, not by us.

6. Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Traffic to BeatVig is served over HTTPS. Payment card data is entered directly with Stripe and never reaches our servers.

7. Your choices and rights

• Access, correction, deletion: email admin@beatvig.com. We act on requests but do not commit to a specific response time.
• Marketing email: we send transactional email only (account, billing, and support messages); we do not send marketing email today.
• Analytics: BeatVig does not currently offer an on-page control to decline analytics. Email us if you want to opt out and we will act on the request manually.

8. Children

BeatVig is not directed to children. Consistent with our Terms of Service, you must be at least 21 years old to use BeatVig, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.
