About BeatVig
What BeatVig is, who runs it, and where its numbers come from.
What is BeatVig?
BeatVig is a free price-comparison site. For the same game or player prop, it shows a sportsbook's posted price next to the matching price on a prediction-market exchange — Kalshi, Polymarket, Novig and ProphetX — so a reader can see which venue is paying more for the identical bet.
BeatVig does not set any of these prices itself. Every number on the site is BeatVig's own price data, assembled continuously from the public lines each sportsbook and exchange posts and refreshed as new quotes arrive. Methodology explains how the comparisons — fair price, vig, expected value, arbitrage — are computed from those prices.
Is BeatVig a sportsbook?
No. BeatVig accepts no wagers, holds no customer funds and runs no betting contests of its own. Every bet a reader places is placed directly with the sportsbook or exchange they choose, under that venue's own terms, at their own risk.
Who operates BeatVig?
BeatVig is operated by Fantasyteamadvice LLC. For any question about the site, write to admin@beatvig.com.
Is betting risky?
Yes. Sports betting and trading on a prediction-market exchange both carry real financial risk, and nothing on BeatVig is betting, financial or investment advice. See Responsible Gambling for help resources, including the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER.
