Bona didn't suit up in the preseason due to a foot injury, though this update bodes well for his status ahead of Tuesday's regular-season opener versus the Knicks. Bona has yet to appear in the preseason and will now miss the final exhibition. He did go through practice Thursday, however, giving him a chance to suit up for Opening Night as the backup center.

Bona is already expected to miss Friday's preseason finale against Boston, but he's still aiming to be ready for the start of the regular season. Once healthy, Bona is in line to serve as the No. 2 center behind Joel Embiid.
