Injury/Illness - Right Quadriceps Strain (2026-10-21, CHI@TOR). Prior reporting (2026-10-20): Collins (toe) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Raptors. Collins has been able to practice for Chicago for the past couple days after missing the entire preseason. He said Monday he was hopeful to play in the season opener, and the probable tag is a good sign. He's penciled in to back up Jalen Smith with Nicolas Claxton (hamstring) sidelined.

Collins was able to practice Monday and indicated that his toe responded well. He missed the entire preseason and could potentially face restrictions early on. With Nicolas Claxton (hamstring) set to miss two weeks, Collins and Jalen Smith could see the bulk of the center minutes.
