After missing Minnesota's previous two exhibitions due to soreness, Kuminga showed little rust in his return, missing just one field-goal attempt while connecting twice from beyond the arc. His efficient performance and 22-minute workload were positive developments as he works toward being fully ready for the regular season.

"[Kuminga] is dealing with a little bit of bumps and bruises that we're just being overly cautious with," said head coach Chris Finch when asked why Kuminga would miss Monday's exhibition. It sounds like there's a decent chance Kuminga will be able to get back out there for Wednesday's preseason meeting with the Pistons.
